BIO

Like many, I had my first "experiences behind the lens" in my teens.  I was a shy kid and being behind the lens was a great crutch for talking with people.  Okay... to be honest... in high school it was about meeting girls, but now some thirty years later it's about photography.  I got out of photography for many years, but found my way home over the last four years and it’s a comfortable place.

I am always looking for new ways to portray the world around me through my photography.  In terms of what I shoot, I shoot everything I can.  I don't feel that I have a set type of photography such as landscape, travel, or commercial at this point in my life.  I simply try to produce interesting images regardless of the subject matter. I know that's a fairly generic statement, but my approach is that all things in life are just a part of a large studio shoot.  If I could reposition a mountain to enhance its reflection on a lake... I would.  I have an engineering background which allows me to get pretty creative in finding new ways to shoot and enhance my images.

Using that mindset, whether I am shooting your portrait, your product, or your event, I will give you great imagery that is unique and stands out from the crowd.
